Who we are looking for: Atkore is seeking a hard-working, critical thinker who is interested in an HR career and looking for a fast-paced environment to showcase their abilities. What youll do: Report directly to the Corporate Human Resources Director. Contribute to the overall success of business operations and assist HR teams in continuous improvement projects. Get exposed to many functional areas of HR, such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Total Rewards through your project work. Prepare deliverables, schedule and lead meetings, prepare presentations, and report out on progress as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as required. What you bring: Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or any related field with expectations of graduating Spring of 2022. Strategically aggressive mindset to problem-solve and bring new ideas to the Human Resources team. During the internship, youll: Build relationships with the Human Resources team, as well as key stakeholders youll have around you. Develop an understanding of Atkores values and learn the Human Resources teams strategic initiatives. Learn the recruiting module of our UltiPro Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Grow your knowledge of functional areas within a business, including but not limited to Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Marketing, and Sales.
