Job/Internship Description
The Role

As the Marketing Communications Intern, you'll be asked to develop and coordinate a range of internal and external communications, including town hall presentations, newsletters, social media, and other content campaigns. This position will work with leaders and team members of all levels and will report to the Director of Content.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing team to develop and implement internal and external marketing communications strategies by:
  • Gather and analyze current state communications
  • Complete stakeholder analysis
  • Develop communications plan
  • Create communications image and template alignment with Marketing brand standards
  • Produce content and creative for a variety of channels.
  • Develop communications effectiveness measurement strategy
  • Create a repository of standard communications templates for internal communications (e.g., town hall decks, weekly team email, new hire announcements). Develop and create content for these communications as needed.
  • Assist in creation of campaign calendars, and coordinate editorial and social content to drive increased brand recognition and organic leads.
  • Benchmark, analyze & report on campaign results to drive iterative improvements.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide recommendations for content, social and brand campaigns/strategies

Requirements
  • Pursuing a graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or related degree.
  • Strong storyteller; highly skilled in written and visual communications - creates compelling communications people want to engage with
  • Can distill complex or technical messages into easy-to-understand language/visuals
  • Proactive, flexible individual with strong ability to prioritize and produce quality results under tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of AP writing style
  • Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn and other social media platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud and Google tools suite; Wordpress is a nice to have
  • Additional proficiencies a plus: Hubspot, Google Analytics
