The Opportunity

Become a member of a best-in-class custom ASIC design team that provides design solutions and offerings for next generation 5G carriers, cloud data centers, enterprise and automotive applications. You will have an opportunity to have a key role as a design verification engineer developing next-generation ASIC designs.

ASIC design verification team member responsibilities include:

o Verifying complex SoCs through simulation of register-transfer level (RTL) and gate level designs using industry standard tools and processes

o Collaborate closely with design and other verification engineers to develop and implement verification test plans and drive verification methodology work

o Develop constrained-random verification test environment using Verilog/System Verilog, UVM and C programming, including testbenches, checkers, monitors, drivers and and other testbench components

o Use problem solving skills to debug failing simulations and create test vectors and testing scenarios to exhaustively exercise a design

o Drive and analyze test coverage metrics

o Utilizes technical abilities and sound communication skills to implement and manage verification deliverables to customers

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience.
Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.

Minimum Qualifications

o Knowledge of advance digital design, CPU design and computer architecture

o Experience with industry standard simulators such as Cadence Incisive, Synopsys VCS or Questasim

o Advance knowledge of behavioral coding in verilog and SystemVerilog

o Experience in standard verification methodology flows, including developing test plans, building testbenches and generating test cases

o Experience programming in C or C++ and in scripting using Python, PERL or Bash

o Experience with ARM microprocessor and AMBA bus architectures, including coresight

o Experience with industry standard interfaces and peripherals

o Experience developing and analyzing coverage metrics

o Great problem solving and critical thinking skills

o Good written and verbal communication skills

o Self-starter, goal oriented and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

o Experience with constrained-random verification test environments using Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM

o Experience using Cadence, Synopsys or Mentor VIPs

o Experience using formal verification tools and processes

o Experience in gate-level verification, including SDF sim

o Experience with memory subsystems (DDR/LPDDR)
