The Project Architect is responsible for supervising the production of the construction documents and ensuring their technical accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Architect shall assist in planning and scheduling projects with a budget of up to $50 million and keep the PMs informed of any issues relating to the project.
  • Ensure that the design and technical quality of the project meet the company's standards and the firm technical and graphic standards are met.
  • Maintain project-related documentation and specifications.
  • Respond to Bid Phase inquiries and required addenda.
  • Assist the Construction Administrator during the construction phase in responding to questions and clarifications.

Education/Experience:

  • A degree from an accredited school of architecture.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications, Etc.:

  • Licensed architect.
  • Up to 5 years experience following registration.
  • Knowledgeable in the applicable building codes, CAD, and Revit proficient with a working knowledge of word processing, scheduling, and spreadsheet software.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
