What will you be doing and learning?

Looking for a fun and fulfilling summer internship, in a collaborative and supportive environment? Our interns gain real-world, hands-on experience in the world of sales, High School/AP education, and publishing.

The BFW Sales Internship is based on our full-time Sales and Sales Support positions. This internship will allow interns to learn all aspects of an AP sales career by assisting with tasks such as data mining for prospecting potential customers, supporting presentations, and interacting with our internal teams. BFW interns are looked at as employees and are always held to a high standard to represent BFW in a positive light.

Our sales internship is a project-based internship that will allow interns to learn about and work in the industry. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Data mining and updating our CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Supporting Sales Representative with presentation help (i.e. ebook tabbing, PPT editing, video script creation, video creation).
  • Providing teachers with Launchpad and SaplingPlus access for Teacher Resource fulfillment.
  • Updating Approved Vendor Status; checking in on where we are not approved vendors, and sending applications to the bids can contracts team.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • You must be enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor's, Master's, etc)
    • We will accept applicants graduating from their degree in Spring 2021.
  • Self-starter who is willing to collaborate often with team members via Slack, phone, and Zoom video calls.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to quickly learn new systems
  • Interest in Sales
