OVERVIEW

iMedia is looking for interns who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in Accounting/Finance, Broadcasting, Creative Services, Merchandise Planning, Marketing and Promotions, Merchandising, Customer Operations and Human Resources. The Internship Program is a paid program that is focused on providing students with robust projects in one or more retail disciplines.

Our aim is to select exceptional students who are seeking to develop their skills while being mentored and coached by strong leaders and build partnerships with dynamic teams across the company to develop program workflow and deliverables.

SCHEDULE: This program will run from June 7th August 14th. We can provide full or part-time hours based on candidate needs. This program is On-site at our corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN

IT Department:

In this role, you will gain valuable insight into the day-to-day role in the IT department and apply your passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. You will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work in the IT department on testing software updates, trouble-shooting issues, and deploying software updates. If you like variety and challenges, you will love this position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support the IT team in maintaining software use to support the business
  • Testing web and mobile applications used by the end customers
  • Testing web applications used by the business users
  • Provide suggestions on how to improve usability of applications
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and contributing to solutions
  • General administrative tasks
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • New graduates or currently studying towards a Bachelors or Associates Degree or Advanced Degree
  • You demonstrate leadership skills, drive, and initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) OneNote, Google Docs
  • Proven writing skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as a self-starter
  • Eager to learn about the many fields of retail business and broadcasting
  • Able to work well independently and in team setting
  • Articulate, mature, personable, and professional (i.e. you may have opportunities to attend meetings, Zoom conferences, and presentations)
  • Punctual, reliable, and honest
