Job/Internship Description

Pay Rate: $15/hour
Length: 12 weeks
Hours:20 hours a week
Location: Remote USA

What will you be doing and learning?

The marketing intern will support the efforts of the High School Marketing team . This intern will liaise and collaborate with editorial, sales, and customers. Interns will learn about building effective multi-platform campaigns, working with sales, and positioning products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing social media posts and monitoring social engagement
  • Collaborating to create presentations, videos, and other sales tools
  • Collaborating on data analysis to inform campaigns
  • Proofreading copy for brochures and catalogs
  • Shipping products and marketing materials to customers
  • Soliciting instructor feedback
  • Entering essential customer data into our customer management system.
  • Attend weekly status meetings and other meetings related to the publishing process.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • You must be enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor's, Master's, etc)
    • We will accept applicants graduating from their degree in Spring 2021.
  • Strong writing and research skills, be organized and detail oriented.
  • Highly motivated, organized, ambitious, diligent, problem-solving, and able to thrive independently.
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google G Suite, and Salesforce.com is preferred
