EXECUTIVE OFFICE

The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs' corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm's distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm's relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm's evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm's social and sustainability agendas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

About Goldman Sachs Marketing:

Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.

The Brand Marketing group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, the impact we have on our communities, and our unique and collaborative culture. We create content and campaigns distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media, sponsored content hubs, and other platforms to key audiences of importance to the firm's reputation, commercial objectives, and recruiting goals. As such, our team also manages the firm's presence on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts, philanthropy, sustainability, and key initiatives such as Launch With GS. As well, we lead masterbrand strategy and serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.

Role Summary:

The Associate, Social Media Creative - Creative Copy will be a key member of the O&O social media team within the Brand Marketing group, developing copy for social media content across our channels.

The Social Media Copywriter will plan, conceptualize, create and execute on copywriting projects, ensuring a cohesive tone of voice and narrative across the firm's social media channels. This individual will help distill information - market research, financial and thought leadership, and broader marketing campaigns -- into easy to digest copy that is engaging and succinct. This role requires the ability to see the big picture while also keeping a close eye on the details. The Social Copywriter will liaise with stakeholders globally and cross-divisionally, and will manage communication flows among internal creative teams, external creative agencies, and social platform partners to produce engaging post copy.
