RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

About Goldman Sachs Marketing:

Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.

The Brand Marketing group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, the impact we have on our communities, and our unique and collaborative culture. We create content and campaigns distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media, sponsored content hubs, and other platforms to key audiences of importance to the firm's reputation, commercial objectives, and recruiting goals. As such, our team also manages the firm's presence on social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts, philanthropy, sustainability, and key initiatives such as Launch With GS. As well, we lead brand strategy and serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.

Specific campaign initiatives may include supporting driving awareness for and applications to both lateral and campus career opportunities globally; storytelling around our culture, what we do, and what it's like to work here, , or supporting specific recruiting or people-focused initiatives and programs. For all of these areas, BCS acts as brand managers, and the Associate will build key internal client relationships while managing high-priority projects in pursuit of brand and business KPIs. Marketing activities for both initiatives span strategy development, narrative building, content production, collateral creation, social and paid media planning, as well as agency and internal stakeholder management.
