Job/Internship Description

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attend paid orientation session at CAE headquarters in Montreal, Canada
  • Visit US Army training facility in Dothan, AL training facility if and when required. Scout premises to prepare media plan
  • Storyboarding and Content Curation
  • Filming and Video Editing
  • Assemble the application to include interactivity and audio guidance
  • Gather data and prepare reports as necessary
  • Learn project relevant software such as Adobe Photoshop, Unity, etc.
  • Integrate media for AR/VR compatibility
  • Responsible for handling, care and maintenance of AR/VR equipment
  • Generate effective oral and written presentations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree (or higher level) college/university program in majoring in Multimedia Development/Engineering/Digital Media and other related fields
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Experience with multimedia development
  • Knowledge of latest filming techniques and technology
  • Knowledge of AR/VR capabilities
  • Inclination to learn new multimedia tools and software
  • Storyboarding, Script Development and UX Strategy
  • Domain related experience and/or interest (i.e., aviation, military training) is helpful but not required
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be willing to learn new procedures and applications
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DOD Personal Security Clearance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • May be required to sit down for long lengths of time.
  • May be required to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a simulator
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
