The Pricing & Programming Intern will work with Marketing and Sales to design and calculate costs of programs. This Intern will also gain experience in analyzing program spend data and draw conclusions in a useful manner to evaluate effectiveness of programs and propose improvements. Involvement in development of pricing and programming competitor analysis will also be apart of your expereince with us. The intern will act as a resource for the sales team as they are interpreting and using programs, and offer suggestions on what programs they should be using to optimize their price advantage.

• Support the Pricing and Programming department. May include the following:
  • Provide price recommendations to a designated group of internal customers using a variety of inputs (historical data, market knowledge, statistical analyses, pricing tools, etc.)
  • Consult with Sales and Marketing to present competitive pricing on product categories
  • Support Sales & Marketing efforts through price/product recommendation & and industry analysis
  • Evaluate price/product mix objectives & identify market dynamics and trends
  • Review & determine relevance / accuracy of all product price positions in marketplace
  • Use analytics tools and information to drive market position reporting for Marketing Managers
  • Create, maintain, and support Competitive Pricing Comparisons
  • Create measurement tools to track pricing activities and results

• Pursuing a minimum of a BS degree or MS degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willing to learn and grow as a business analyst
• Ability to work independently and meet deliverable deadlines
• Highly skilled in Excel will experience in full MS Office Suite. Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with off-highway/agriculture/construction, or similar, equipment
• Familiarity with budget and costing analysis
• Demonstrated financial analysis and analytical skills with an understanding of finance/pricing strategies
• SAP experience a plus
