We are looking for a motivated Product Manager to help drive Vendor and Customer experience by re-defining how Amazon purchases products around the world. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, innovative Product Manager who thrives in dealing with ambiguity and able to independently drive efforts to build new products for the global logistics business and our emerging countries. As the Product Manager, you will drive business requirements to tech team and see them through to implementation. You will work closely partner teams to define product roadmap, requirements, and success metrics. In addition, you will coordinate development across multiple cross functional teams from design through delivery and manage timelines. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Strong candidates will be able to influence teams without authority, have excellent communication skills, a passion for building simple, elegant solutions and architecturally sound systems, and a drive for results in an international setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding Vendor/Customer experience and building prioritized requirements to teams such as ordering, compliance and logistics.
- Building a multi-year roadmap of systems to reach long term goals
- Implementing scrappy solutions in the short term, with plans on improving for scalability
- Removing roadblocks to meet business goals while balancing product management goals
- Providing visibility to stakeholders around the world
- Writing and presenting documents to senior leadership on plans and progress
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* 5+ years of experience of Product/Program Management
* 5+ years of experience developing new products and services
