We are looking for a successful candidate that possesses knowledge of Commercial Doors, Frames and Hardware. Responsible for estimating/purchasing Door, Frame, Hardware packages for Commercial Construction projects.

Our client is located 25 miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis, MN.

Qualifications:

Commercial hardware & related codes experience. Work requires knowledge of the construction industry, specific product knowledge of doors, frames and hardware, codes, standards, architectural drawings, and specifications

Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to work extra hours when needed

Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Office 365 and specifically Excel. E-Mullion Software & T.O.A.D. Visual Assisted Take Off software helpful

Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work

Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

Excellent mathematical aptitude, problem solving

Duties & Responsibilities

Review the contract documents and work with the salesperson to form strategies on what to bid and how to bid it

Manage risk by finding discrepancies and sending out the proper request for information to obtain the correct answers

Prepare detailed take-off and estimates using takeoff spreadsheet, including material, freight, engineering, and installation costs

Send out for manufacturer's quotes in a timely manner

Coordinate and price buyouts
