CLIENT RECEPTIONIST I - GOLDEN VALLEY
Hours: Monday - Friday Days, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Courage Center is currently looking for an experienced receptionist to provide exceptional customer service to all clients and visitors of our headquarters at Golden Valley. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting clients/visitors and directing clients/visitors to appropriate destinations, answering phones, operating the switchboard, overhead paging, collecting service payments, admissions, and registering and scheduling client services as needed. One to two years of experience working reception or client services in a medical clinic or healthcare facility is strongly preferred.

Responsible for verifying and updating required demographic and insurance information and distribute corrections as needed.
Greet, check in client and notify staff of client arrival
Collect and record co-pays, self pay and bill payments as necessary
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Serve as organizational resource in response to queries from the public
May serve as communications resource for emergencies and in-house alerts
Provide supervision and training to Guest Services volunteers
May perform duties of Admission Clerk or assist with Client Services
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to use a computer
Preferred: One to two years of experience in reception or client services with a medical clinic or healthcare facility
Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to work in an environment that is fast-paced
Ability to organize and manage work priorities
Experience, competence and sensitivity in working with people with physical disabilities and people of diverse races and cultures
