This internship position requires a commitment between 20-24 hours of service/ week.

Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation department is the fundraising arm of Children's. Gifts to the Foundation support treatment programs, provide support for patients and families, fund medical research, and raise awareness of pediatric health issues throughout the community.

This position supports the Children's Foundation benefit events team fundraising activities. Specifically this position will assist with fundraising event planning and execution. This position will be involved in various projects including event planning, logistics, administrative tasks, volunteer management, and ePhilanthropy. This internship position requires a commitment between 20-24 hours of service/ week.

Qualifications:

* Interest in gaining nonprofit exposure and experience and interest in pediatric healthcare
* High school diploma or equivalent and current pursuit of bachelor degree.
* Previous office experience preferred
* Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Strong work ethic and decision making ability.
* Strong writing/communication and proofreading skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
* Ability to work as member of a team, as well as independently when tasked.
* Desire to develop and nurture relationships with corporate and individual donors/sponsors and volunteers.
