Position Description

**Multiple positions needed.  Requirements vary based on level. 
Position Overview:
 
The Managing Consultant will be the main point of contact for building lasting relationships within the assigned market segment.   This position is responsible for assuring that clients clearly perceive the strategic value, financial return on investment and technical quality of the Informed Negotiation and Contract Enforcement consulting and auditing services that the Company provides.  The Managing Consultant will be responsible for implementing Best Practices towards achieving the market segment and overall business goals.  The Managing Consultant reports to the Senior Vice President of Business Development.
 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Management of all strategic and tactical clients relationships within an assigned market segment
  •  
  • Formulation and execution of initial and ongoing Strategic Assessment and Account Management Plans
  •  
  • Secures client relationships and renewal of services and sells new added value services in order to assist clients
  •  
  • Retention of clients and associated revenue as assigned with the Book of Business
  •  
  • Generation of new sales revenue to achieve set goals
  •  
  • Technical oversight of all work products and services provided to client
  •  
  • Rigorous adherence to Customer-Centric Selling practices and tracking of client relationships with the company CRM system and working client files
  •  
  • Management of all client implementations associated with new and existing clients as assigned
  •  
  • Accurate and timely completion of Weekly Activity Reports and Month-End Client Satisfaction and Performance Summaries
  •  
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual client revenue forecasts for client Book of Business
  •  
  • Strategic collaboration with Executive and Senior Management Team members on client strategy and performance of client engagements
  •  
  • Coordination of all technical consulting and auditing resources responsible for completion of work contracted by clients
  •  
  • Negotiation of client contracts and consummation of written contracts.


Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  •  
  • 5-10 years of Pharmacy Benefit management and/or Pharmacy Benefit Consulting experience
  •  
  • Strong Pharmacy Benefits knowledge and technical skill in the application of Associated benefits strategies and PBM contracting terms
  •  
  • Experience with C-level audiences and superb client management skills
  •  
  • Proven ability to work in a progressive, fast-paced environment meeting deadlines with a positive attitude and cool demeanor
  •  
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships
  •  
  • Experience with CRM and Microsoft based tools
  •  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
