Genesis10 is seeking a Patient Financial Services Director for a contract with our client. 100% Remote.

Job Description:
Our healthcare provider client is seeking an experienced Patient Financial Services Director to join their team on a contract basis. This is a remote position with less than 25% travel to Boston, MA.
You will play a key role in augmenting the client's current Patient Financial Services team as they prepare for and transition to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system go-live later this year. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hospital billing and patient financial services operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Patient Financial Services team during the EMR transition
• Optimize billing processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and compliance
• Analyze financial performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure proper training and readiness of the team for the new EMR go-live
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Revenue Cycle, and clinical departments

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in hospital Patient Financial Services operations and billing
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing PFS teams
• In-depth knowledge of the client's current Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Epic EMR system (the client is converting to Epic)
• EMR implementation/go-live experience is a plus

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $
