University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN in a casual position.

The Inpatient Psychiatry Team at UMMC is comprised of world-renowned experts skilled at managing and treating individuals with mental health needs. This is a collaborative practice with a team of clinical psychiatrists and psychiatry faculty of the University of Minnesota.

In This Role, You Will:

• Care for patients on general adult inpatient mental health units, as well as specialty units including young adult, geriatric, and detox.
• Join a team of 7 Psychiatrists and 7 PMHNPs.
• Average daily census is 12 beds.
• Enjoy practicing in an excellent team environment and receive great ancillary and administrative support.

Schedule:

• Casual
• Day shifts with weekend shifts optionally available

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry residency training program.
• Board-eligible/certified with the ABPN.
• Licensed or ability to acquire a medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
