JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all selling, business development, and customer/project acquisition activity in assigned markets. Must provide leadership and direction resulting in the achievement of annual sales, revenue, and cost budgets, business growth and improvement objectives, and development and implementation of short-term and long-term marketing and growth strategies and tactics.  

You’ll be responsible for achieving net order objectives for territories; generating and qualifying leads; generating and qualifying opportunities, developing strong customer relationships; planning; developing accounts; participating in the development of sales and marketing plans and budgets; introducing, promoting, and selling all granite specialty product and service offerings that Coldspring provides.

There is a minimum of 70% traveling to customer sites, industry conventions, and shows. This position will represent all of Coldspring’s Landscape products and services in the Midwest and Northeast markets.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Strategy Development:
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve company objectives
  • Conducting market research and collaborating with the Marketing Department to identify and analyze new opportunities
  • Collaborating with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives
Business Development:
  • Developing business plans to produce and sell landscape products
  • Identifying potential clients and key accounts; developing strategies to acquire new business
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
Sales Operations:
  • Establishing sales quotas, targets, and budgets in coordination with senior management
  • Ensuring profitability goals are met or exceeded
  • Monitoring sales activities and tracking performance metrics of team members
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE: 3 years of industry-related experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Experience in CRM systems to manage and track sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipelines
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry
  • Understanding of data privacy and security protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of customer data within the CRM system
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools
  • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills; self-starter; and goal-driven towards accomplishing the annual and long-range sales objectives;
  • Comfortability with introducing new products and penetrating new markets to increase sales/accounts; developing marketing materials; foresight in scheduling work to achieve objectives cost-effectively
  • Proficient computer skills —Outlook and other Microsoft-based software.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in circumstances that require constant learning and adapting to changing environments
