Lakewood Care Center is an 87-bed, Medicare certified skilled long-term care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff, health inspections and quality measures. Mission for PCA/CNA Care Center

The PCA/CNA-Care Center will provide personalized, compassionate care to residents while focusing on dignity and respect for each resident in their care.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to residence with daily activities such as feeding and bathing
  • Encourage residents to function at the highest level of their ability
  • Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
  • Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
  • Respond positively to feedback (questions, suggestions, problems) from residents, guests, family members and fellow staff

Position Type

We offer flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. Available full time and part time shifts include:

  • 8 Hour Shifts -

6:00am-2:30PM

2:00pm-10:30PM

  • 12 Hour Shifts -

6:00am-6:30PM

10:00am-10:30pm

5:45pm-6:15am

  • Weekends - every third
  • Holidays - some


Certified staff starting pay of $17/hr does not include additional compensation available through:

  • Competitive shift differential (PM/Noc), shift pick-up, overtime
  • Increases based on certifications, education, experience or additional duties

  1. Current MN Certified Nursing Assistant or willingess to train and be certified on-site
