Three vacancies will be filled at one of the following classifications, based on the candidate's qualifications and the needs of the department.
Principal Engineer: Bachelor' degree in Engineering in the related area of discipline; and five (5) years of related experience as an Engineer. Senior Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the related area of discipline; and at least four (4) years of related experience as an Engineer. *Licensure Requirements: Principal Engineer levels must have a Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Minnesota. PE licenses from other states must be transferred to Minnesota within six months of date of hire. Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the related area of discipline; and at least two (2) years of related engineering experience.
Associate Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the related area of discipline

Principal Project Coordinator: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Planning or related field, and
Senior Project Coordinator: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Planning or related field; and
Project Coordinator: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Planning or related field; and
Associate Project Coordinator: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Planning or related field;
*NOTE: combined years of completed, related education and experience will substitute for education requirements for the Senior Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator, and Associate Project Coordinator. |
What your work environment will be:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office work environment however there will be some travel from primary work site to other sites and to construction sites. At times incumbent in this position will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, near moving parts and equipment, fumes and airborne particles and electrical items.
