This senior-level Health Plan Specialist will be part of our Individual and Family Business department and will be responsible for managing all inquiries from active, terminated and prospective members of Medica. In addition to being the primary contact and subject matter expert for members to interpret contracts, explaining benefits, and resolving various service problems, this position will be responsible for mental health intakes, provider referrals, triaging for crisis and higher levels of care, and managing hand offs to Medica Behavioral Health for case management.

Bachelor's degree in in psychology or social services or equivalent work experience required
3 years customer service experience required

Ability to identify process improvements, provide mentor and peer feedback and develop knowledge of multiple products and platforms required
