Description | Key Responsibilities * Supply parts and Information to Service Supervisors and Service Technicians * Order, receive and store parts * Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, and other stock items and distribute items to technicians * Prepare parts returns and perform credits for dealers * Use computer to enter records, add new parts, and generate and submit stock orders * Manage parts inventory; Maintain necessary records in the parts department * Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and shelves, or convey order to packing station/shipping area * Package, ship, and receive parts as needed * Phone and parts counter customer support as needed * Other duties as assigned Critical Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities by Dimension: Functional/Technical * Minimum of two years of engine and/or power gen parts experience * Able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment * Excellent customer support skills encompassing the Customer Support Excellence philosophy and standards * Able to use a computer and keyboard to complete work (i.e. parts look up, invoicing, etc.) * Organizational and time management skills Physical Requirements * Able to lift up to 75lbs on a regular basis * Able to stand, bend, and walk on a regular basis Quality/Improvement * Able to contribute to system improvement process * Commitment to task and results oriented * Strong commitment to safety Teamwork * Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking & telephone) * Able to work through conflict and use effective problem solving techniques * Able to develop & maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers * Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude Cummins NPower is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes diversity in the workplace.
