Job Description
Come join our team at CRMC! The Director of Patient Care provides clinical and operational leadership for the Acute Care Nursing department which includes Medical/Surgical, ICU, ED, OB and Ambulatory Care units. Assumes 24- hour accountability for these areas and is responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and enhancement of quality nursing services for assigned areas. Ensures the delivery of care is in congruence with the mission, vision and values of CRMC.
Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in nursing administration or related field. Previous nursing experience in acute care required. Minimum of 5 years experience leading an acute care department with successful performance in leadership and management functions required.
Special Skills and Aptitudes: Must possess strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills. Knowledgeable about clinical and regulatory standards established by State, Joint Commission and possess skills to ensure compliance with such standards.
License/Certifications: RN license in MN required.
