This position is responsible for performing routine software administration activities in the analytical laboratory. This position performs non-routine software and instrument interface troubleshooting activities; Revises SOPs and training modules to ensure that all software administration and training activities are properly documented and governed; Performs training for other lab software administration employees, as well as lab analysts on lab software operation and maintenance; Executes qualification of new laboratory software packages; Ensure that software administration activities are performed in accordance with cGMP requirements.

Must have a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related science field with 12 credits of college chemistry with typically a minimum of 4 + years experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with an emphasis on laboratory software administration. Must be capable of administering software for chromatography, spectroscopy, titration instruments and other laboratory software packages. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and with others and ability to multi-task. Experience or training in Word or Excel and other computer software is preferred.
