What We Do

Endres Processing and Food Waste Solutions recycle inedible bakery and food products into animal feed. There are three phases to our business:

Our Collection program works with bakery and food manufacturers to design, manufacture and install waste control systems. We provide food manufacturing companies with creative solutions for their waste stream handling problems. We supply these manufacturers with superior on-site collection equipment and service them with our company-owned fleet of trucks.

The Processing phase depackages, mixes, processes and dries the product into a consistent flowable feed ingredient. We are constantly upgrading and implementing the newest technologies in the industry. Our motto is "Technology to Feed On". Our experience and innovative technology enable us to process and manufacture a feed that enhances animal performance and producer profitability.

The Feed Sales arm markets the bakery feed products produced along with other feed products and byproducts to the animal feed industry. In addition, we are constantly striving to develop new products and technologies to meet feed industry needs.

Our History

Endres Processing began in 1986 when the Endres Family Farm began feeding bakery food products to their cattle. Leon Endres realized that processing these various food products into one consistent feed ingredient would provide the livestock producer with a product that was nutritionally and economically superior to corn.

Endres started with a dry mixing format and expanded the system to include a dryer and other processing equipment. In April of 1998 we opened the new state-of-the-art facility in Rosemount, MN. We also have processing facilities located in Anamosa, IA (operating as Food Waste Solutions LLC), Battle Creek, MI and Byron Center, MI. Our tremendous growth has propelled Endres Processing & Food Waste Solutions to the forefront of bakery waste recycling for the Midwestern United States. Ultimate Nutrients is the marketing arm utilized by all companies for feed sales.
