Since 1915 Zion Lutheran Church has ministered to the Twin Cities metro area. Today, over 100 years after its founding, the culture and challenges faced by the world are far different from when Zion had its beginning in a quiet, almost rural community.  The focus of the congregation, however, has never wavered.  Zion continues to be a thriving, mission minded center for Christians to be fed with God's Word and sacraments.  Our desire remains to reach out with the love of Christ to the neighborhood and world we serve.

Zion Early Childhood Center (ZECC) opened on October 10, 2001.  ZECC is a year round program in session Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Tuition is charged weekly and includes breakfast, catered lunch, afternoon snack, educational supplies, and music.  ZECC is licensed by the MN Department of Human Services and participates in the MN Child and Adult Care Food Program to ensure the health and safety of each child we serve.

At Zion Early Childhood Center the teachers and staff live and model their faith by following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Teachers and staff seek a partnership with the families we serve.  Our classrooms are purposely planned and developed to encourage a loving, stimulating, and learning environment.  All staff encourages children to be kind, loving, and respectful of each other.
