ADULT FOSTER CARE SERVICES
We proudly support individuals from all walks of life in pursuing their personal missions. We currently provide services to people with traumatic brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and mental illnesses.
Our History
Howry Residential Services began when Mark and Susan Howry decided to open up their home to adult foster care. Our first client moved in with the Howry's on September 1, 1995. This client had previously been in and out of unsuccessful placements including a large provider and a Regional Treatment Center. The original client continues to live in the original Howry residence.
Today, HRS Inc continues to serve clients based on this original family foster care model. We now provide services to more than 100 clients in our 28 licensed homes located in the counties of Anoka, Dakota, Goodhue, Hennepin, Olmsted, and Ramsey. In addition, the Behavior Solutions division of HRS Inc provides behavioral services to clients in their own homes and at other foster care facilities. The once small family business now employs over 300 individuals.
It's Their Home
Providing residential services is more than providing a place to live. It's also creating a place to call home, where a welcoming, comfortable place to relax meets an engaging place to learn and grow. Where well trained and compassionate staff meet creative and eager clients.
When residential services aren't quite enough, HRS Inc Behavior Solutions division provides Behavior Professional and Behavior Analyst services. For the more independent clients, HRS Inc provides Independent Living Skills Counseling.
